On May 14, While on a working visit to Russia, a delegation from Azerbaijan, led by Goshgar Tahmazli, Chairman of the Food Safety Agency, met with Sergei Dankvert, Head of the Federal Agency for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of Russia (“Rosselkhoznadzor”).
TurkicWorld reports the meeting reviewed plans for further increasing the export of agricultural products from Azerbaijan to Russia during the current year, as well as simplifying export procedures.
The discussions also covered electronic information and experience exchange, animal identification, the fight against particularly dangerous animal diseases, and the management of pesticide and agrochemical circulation.
Dankvert praised Azerbaijan’s experience in the relevant area, expressing confidence in the future development of the existing fruitful cooperation between the two institutions.
