Bulgarian President Rumen Radev announces resignation

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 19. Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has announced his resignation, TurkicWorld reports.

In an address to the nation, Radev said he intends to take part in the upcoming snap parliamentary elections. He stated that he will submit his resignation on the morning of January 20.

According to Radev, the decision is linked to his plans to actively engage in the political process ahead of the early vote.
