BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 8. US President Donald Trump said on Friday he had selected Michel Issa to be the US ambassador to Lebanon, TurkicWorld reports.
"Michel is an outstanding businessman, a financial expert, and a leader with a remarkable career in Banking, Entrepreneurship, and International Trade," Trump said on Truth Social.
On Friday, Trump announced via Truth Social that he had appointed a number of new ambassadors including Lebanon's.
