BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 27. Deputies of the left-wing party France Unbowed will send a proposal to the National Assembly (lower house of parliament) to remove Emmanuel Macron from the post of president of the republic, the national coordinator of the party Manuel Bompard wrote on his page on X, TurkicWorld reports.
"The proposal to remove him will be sent to the bureau of the National Assembly in accordance with Article 68 of the constitution," he noted.
France Unbowed made this decision after Macron refused to appoint the candidate of the left-wing New Popular Front, economist Lucie Castet, to the post of prime minister.
