EU in shock Israeli strike on school in Gaza - Josep Borrell

BAKU, Azerbaijan. August 12. The head of European diplomacy condemned Israel's attack on a school in Gaza and said that "there is no justification for these massacres," TurkicWorld reports.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said he was shocked by footage from the Al-Tabieen school in Gaza, where at least 100 people were killed in an Israeli attack.

"Horrified by the images from a shelter school in the Gaza Strip, which was hit by an Israeli strike that reportedly killed dozens of Palestinians," Borrell wrote on social media.

The head of European diplomacy stressed that at least 10 schools had been targeted in recent weeks.

"There is no justification for these massacres," Borrell said.

He recalled that more than 40,000 Palestinians have died in Gaza since the beginning of Israel’s attacks.

"A ceasefire is the only way to stop the killing of civilians and ensure the release of prisoners," the head of European diplomacy said.

The army of the genocidal Israel attacked a school in the Ad-Deraj neighborhood of the blockaded Gaza Strip, killing at least a hundred Palestinians and wounding dozens.

Thousands of displaced Palestinians were sheltering in the At-Tabi'een school when the attack occurred during morning prayers.

Charred and dismembered body parts are scattered everywhere after the Israeli airstrike, making it difficult for Civil Defense crews to work.

The Israeli army said its air force had struck the At-Tabi'een school, which is used as a headquarters by the Palestinian Hamas militants.
