Hungary’s parliament approves Sweden’s NATO bid

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 27. Hungary’s parliament voted Monday to ratify Sweden's bid to join NATO, TurkicWorld reports.

The measure passed after a vote of 188 for and only 6 against in the 199-member parliament, which is dominated by legislators from the governing Fidesz party of Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

Hungary became the last NATO country to approve the Sweden's bid.
