BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 9. The BE-200CC amphibious aircraft from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) is continuing its firefighting operations in Türkiye, TurkicWorld reports via the ministry.
The aircraft, dispatched to support the fraternal Türkiye’s wildfire response as part of a mission initiated by Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev to assist with severe forest fires was engaged in firefighting efforts in the Izmir-Aliaga area on October 8.
To note, the amphibious aircraft begun operations to extinguish forest fires in Türkiye on August 18.
