Uza.uz A delegation of teachers and talented students of Baku Secondary School No. 53 arrived in Uzbekistan as part of the OCEP project, implemented by the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, the National Olympic Committee. The Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev in Tashkent and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan provide special support to the project.

Director Samir Abbasov informed the guests about his team. He spoke about the activities of the Center in developing friendly and cultural ties between the two states, as well as ongoing projects.The delegation got acquainted with the Azerbaijan – Uzbekistan Friendship Museum, which opened on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the national leader’s birth, as well as the museums of Heydar Aliyev, the history of Azerbaijan and the carpet museum.

The delegation also visited the Presidential School and the Al-Beruniy International School in Tashkent, where they got acquainted with the opportunities created for learning and best practices.
