TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 22. Uzbek-Singaporean Technologies of real time joint venture will implement an investment project in the automotive industry in 2025, TurkicWorld reports.
This was revealed during President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to the joint venture in Tashkent region.
The investment project worth $1.15 million will be implemented to produce spare parts for new automobile brands such as BYD, Chery, Changan, Geely, and Dongfeng.
This project will bear fruit with the creation of 43 new jobs, and production capacity will soar from 180,000 to a whopping 280,000 units.
Meanwhile, the car production has increased almost threefold in recent years and is expected to reach 460,000 units by the end of this year. It is planned to increase this figure to 1 million by 2030.
