TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 19. The Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský will visit Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on October 21-22,TurkicWorld reports via the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to information, the visit will start on October 21 with a trip to Kazakhstan.
In the course of his visit to Kazakhstan, Jan Lipavský will discuss issues of mutual cooperation in the spheres of energy, defense industry, and aviation transport with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu.
The head of Czech diplomacy will arrive in Uzbekistan on October 22. This will be the first visit of the Czech Foreign Minister to Uzbekistan since 1995.
The program of the visit to Uzbekistan will begin with a lecture by Minister Lipavský at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent.
The Czech Foreign Minister will hold talks with Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov and meet with Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Jamshid Khodjaev. The sides will discuss opportunities for cooperation in digitalization and modernization, where the Czech Republic can offer its experience and expert solutions.
