TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 4. Uzbekistan Airports and International Air Transport Association (IATA) discussed development of airports in Uzbekistan and civil aviation, TurkicWorld reports.
The news followed a meeting between the management of Uzbekistan Airports and Tashkent airport with representatives of the IATA.
During the meeting, the sides reviewed improving the quality of passenger service and training in Uzbekistan. The IATA representatives noted their readiness to provide support in organizing training for various categories of airport personnel.
The IATA Regional Vice President for Europe Rafael Schwartzman emphasized the significant dynamics of the development of the aviation industry in Uzbekistan, and the compliance of the country's civil aviation with IATA policies and standards.
