On November 11 this year, an international exhibition, the 2023 Sharjah Architecture Triennial, kicked off in the United Arab Emirates, titled “The Beauty of Impermanence: An Architecture of Adaptability”. UzA will cover this large-scale event.
In recent years, it has become a good tradition to organize shows demonstrating the culture of Uzbekistan at famous exhibition venues worldwide. Uzbekistan’s history, culture, religion, and customs now attract the attention of the world community and tourists.
Today, for Central Asian countries, particularly Uzbekistan, the priority direction for entering the world arena is the development of international cooperation in culture and art through the implementation of large spiritual and enlightenment projects.
“The Beauty of Impermanence: An Architecture of Adaptability” is an exciting and relevant theme. Nowadays, we have great opportunities for promotion and wide familiarization of the masses with examples of cultural heritage and architecture.
Sessions and workshops on various cultural and enlightenment topics began today in Sharjah as part of this prestigious international exhibition.
From the point of view of intensifying the creation of urban architecture projects, the Triennial in the social sphere will serve to boost debate, increase public awareness of architecture and urbanism, and conduct research.
Lively preparations were underway for this important international event. The creative team of Uzbekistan National News Agency – UzA plans to prepare special reports from the Al Qasimia school, which was chosen to demonstrate examples of architecture from about 30 countries. The presentation of the project “Tashkent: Mastering Modernism”, prepared on the Art and Culture Development Foundation initiative, will be presented to the attention of representatives of the entire international community and art lovers.
As part of the three-day events, urban architecture projects and types from Western and South Asian countries and the African region will be shown. The event attracted architects, students, scientists, politicians, and public figures.
A press conference was previously organized for foreign journalists. Media representatives received answers to their questions about the prospects and international scale of the Triennial, goals, and objectives. A tour of the venues reserved for participants from almost 30 countries was also organized. Each exhibition project is unique and essential, attracting visitors’ attention. The exhibition will reveal the possibilities of architecture in major cities of the world and show that images of historical objects and designs of urban views play an essential role in the cultural life of any state.
