Uza. On 15-17 November 2023, Tashkent will host the 28th International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” (TITF-2023).
TITF is the most significant information event that promotes tourism products and establishes business contacts and cooperation ties. The fair has been held since 1995 with the support of the UNWTO, annually bringing together hundreds of tourism industry professionals and creating the best conditions for the development of the industry at the international level.
In 2022, after a 2-year pause, for the first time in its history, TITF was organized based on a public-private partnership without attracting budgetary funds. Over three days, from November 30 to December 2, the fair was visited by more than 11,000 people. Representatives of 300 companies participated in the event, and about 7 thousand contracts were signed.
The organizers of TITF-2023 are the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Committee of Tourism, the State Unitary Enterprise “National PR Center” and the Team & Co Group. This year’s general partner is Uzbekistan Airways. The Uzexpocentre has traditionally been chosen as the venue for the fair.
As part of the fair, an international exhibition will be held with the participation of tourism organizations from 20 countries: France, the Czech Republic, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, India, Korea, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, China and others.
The business part of the event will include an international forum and sessions with the participation of leading foreign and domestic specialists in tourism. B2B meetings between representatives of private companies from different countries, roundtable discussions, exhibitions of tourism services and handicrafts, presentations of regions of Uzbekistan with tourism potential, and a gastro bazaar with the participation of domestic and international chefs will be held.
