Uza. Prime Ministe r of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin held the 4th meeting of the Joint Commission of U Abdulla Aripovzbekistan and Russia on September 18 in Moscow.
The heads of government, discussing cultural and humanitarian interaction between the two countries, noted the activities of the branch of the Russian State University of Cinematography named after S.A.Gerasimov in the city of Tashkent. Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, speaking about the international cultural project “Russian Seasons”, emphasized the successfully conducted master classes of VGIK in Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that at the upcoming Tashkent International Film Festival “Pearl of the Silk Road”, this practice of VGIK master classes will traditionally be held at the branch in Tashkent. From September 29 to October 2, the educational program of the film festival will be organized.
This practice of VGIK in Uzbekistan will positively impact the further training of professional personnel for national cinematography.
