Uza. A delegation led by Lin Wu, Secretary of the Communist Party of China’s Shandong province, visited Samarkand.
At the meeting held between Samarkand region’s Hokim Erkinjon Turdimov, Mr. Lin Wu, and representatives of the two sides, views were exchanged on the prospects for developing cooperation.
The Secretary of the Communist Party of China’s Shandong province, Lin Wu, noted that the primary purpose of the visit was to develop cooperation between Shandong and Samarkand and offered to cooperate based on long-term plans.
At the meeting, the parties expressed their suggestions and opinions on implementing cooperation. In particular, Erkinjon Turdimov offered to take advantage of Shandong’s rich experience in combating poverty, developing industry, growing and processing agricultural products, and metallurgy with the involvement of businesspeople from Shandong in Narpay and Pakhtachi districts.
It was emphasized that these regions have all the necessary conditions. In the future, the essential opportunities will also be created within the framework of the law. Mr. Lin Wu, expressing his opinion on this issue, noted his readiness to implement concrete proposals for developing a digital economy, strengthening cooperation in agriculture, industry, and utilities.
The parties instructed the responsible persons on drawing up specific plans based on proposals and recommendations and their implementation. Then, the delegation led by Mr. Lin Wu, accompanied by Erkinjon Turdimov, got acquainted with the conditions created at the Great Silk Road International Tourist Center.
