Uza. Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov, at the invitation of the Minister of Culture of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, paid a working visit to Qatar.

The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Nazarbekov took part in Doha International Book Fair and met with its Director Jassim Ahmed Al Buainain.

It was noted that over 500 leading publishers and organizations from 37 countries participated in the event, so the fair became the largest educational fair in the Arab world. At the meeting, it was agreed that Uzbekistan would become the guest of honor next year at this major international event.

In a conversation with the Minister of Culture of the State of Qatar, it was noted that cultural and educational ties with Uzbekistan are entering a new stage.

Based on several projects and proposals, it was decided to develop and implement a cooperation program for 2023-2024.
