The International Conference titled “The Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for the Sake of Children” was held in the city of Arkadag, Turkmenistan, TurkicWorld reports citing Uza.
The event, dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the establishment of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation, was attended by Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
“At the invitation of Ms. Oguljahan Gurbangulyevna Atabaeva, I had the honor of participating in this international conference organized in Turkmenistan”, said the Assistant to the President. “Our nations are united not only by good-neighborly relations, but also by centuries-old family ties, cultural heritage, and a shared great history”.
The event was attended by representatives from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Iran, Russia, China, Belarus, India, Georgia, Armenia, Pakistan, and Austria, as well as by leaders of international and public organizations and government institutions.
It was noted that the comprehensive development of the younger generation and the protection of maternal and child health remain key priorities in state policy.
Such noble efforts are rooted in the humane traditions of our ancestors.
“I was deeply impressed by the work of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation – it is a vivid example of care for children, responsibility, and genuine compassion”, said Saida Mirziyoyeva. “I am confident that this conference will offer new opportunities for joint efforts in the name of future generations, for sharing experiences, and for building active partnerships. We are always open to cooperation and joint work for the benefit of children, because their happiness is our shared future”.
