Turkmenistan, US energy partnership set to soar

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 30. Turkmenistan and the United States aim to enhance their energy cooperation based on years of collaboration within the "C5+1" framework, TurkicWorld reports via Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

The announcement came during a meeting between delegations from both countries following a multilateral "C5+1" meeting in New York.

The discussions particularly focused on energy issues, highlighting the ongoing exploration of international contacts in the energy sector.

Additionally, the talks addressed enhancing security cooperation and developing trade and economic relations, with the Turkmen-American Business Council continuing to play a significant role.

The prospects for education and scientific exchange were also discussed, where both sides acknowledged the positive experience of long-term collaboration through US government-sponsored academic exchange programs.

To note, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov also held separate negotiations with the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, where strategic bilateral relations were discussed.
