ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 23. The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will visit Russia to participate in the upcoming summit of heads of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which will be held in October, TurkicWorld reports, referring to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
According to information, it became known after a telephone conversation between President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In the course of the conversation, the heads of state also discussed the strengthening of Turkmen-Russian relations, emphasizing that strategic partnership with Russia is one of the priorities of Turkmenistan's foreign policy.
