ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 18. A Turkmen delegation discussed the future of bilateral cooperation with the Director of the Department curating the Russian Federation, Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus, Eastern Partnership, Türkiye and Central Asia, Gerhard Sailer, at Austria's Federal Ministry for European and Foreign Affairs, TurkicWorld reports.
The talks focused on political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian collaboration between Turkmenistan and Austria.
The parties also addressed cooperation within international organizations, including support for each other's candidates for elections to the UN and other international bodies.
Both sides agreed to hold further political consultations between their foreign ministries in the first quarter of 2025.
