ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 18. A Turkmen delegation met with IAEA Deputy Director General Hua Liu during the 68th General Conference of the agency to discuss key areas of cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy, TurkicWorld reports via Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting focused on fields such as medicine, agriculture, environmental protection, and water resource management.
The parties highly valued ongoing efforts to develop a framework cooperation program aimed at enhancing collaboration.
The Turkmen delegation also participated in the opening ceremony of the 68th regular session of the IAEA General Conference, emphasizing the importance of international partnership in nuclear technologies for sustainable development.
