Hungary's new ambassador vows to tighten bonds with Turkmenistan - ministry

Baku, TurkicWorld:

Hungary's new ambassador to Turkmenistan, József Rózsa, has promised to roll up his sleeves and hit the ground running to bolster ties between the two nations, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan told TurkicWorld.

During a meeting with Parliament Speaker Dünýägözel Gulmanowa, Rózsa received credentials and conveyed greetings from Hungarian President Tamás Sulyok.

Gulmanowa welcomed the ambassador on his appointment and wished him continued success in building bilateral relations. Rózsa was familiarized with Turkmenistan's foreign policy course and noted the development of bilateral relations both in the bilateral format and within international structures.

The sides also kicked around ideas for broadening their cooperation in trade and economic matters, healthcare, and agriculture, while also looking to breathe new life into inter-parliamentary and cultural connections.
