President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made these remarks during his speech to young officers who graduated from the Turkish Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy in the Beytepe district of Ankara.
The head of state recalled that the day before, Turkish security forces neutralized a dangerous PKK terrorist who was wanted internationally. "We make terrorists answer for every drop of blood they spill. Ankara will not back down from this position," Erdogan said.
The President noted that eradicating crime is the main task of the security forces of each country.
"No one has the right to be above the law. Mafia groups, gangs, criminal networks - you are obliged to fight every manifestation of this lawlessness," the head of state added.
According to Erdogan, Turkish citizens should feel the support of the state in any situation.
