BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. A meeting of the Turkish National Security Council is underway, TurkicWorld reports.
The meeting is chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The meeting participants are expected to discuss issues of strategic, regional and national security, in particular operations to combat terrorism in Northern Iraq and Syria.
The previous meeting of the council was held on June eight this year.
