BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 20. Turkish Airlines set a new maximum price level for domestic flights, TurkicWorld reports.
According to official press releases, the government has set a new price cap for one-way air travel across the country at 1,650 liras ($61).
It was noted that the reason for this decision stemmed from the increase in taxes, as well as the depreciation of the national currency.
This situation is observed not only in Turkish Airlines, but also in the AnadoluJet low-cost airline.
The national currency of Türkiye has set a new historical low, exceeding 27 liras per US dollar.
