Türkiye's TUA and NASA collaborate for the Space Apps Challenge

Baku, TurkicWorld:

Turkish Space Agency (TUA) of Türkiye will participate in the Space Apps Challenge, organized by NASA, TurkicWorld reports.

The Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye Mehmet Fatih Kacir told that this year Türkiye collaborates with NASA via TUA.

‘’In this way, we will benefit from their experience and implement our own space projects. Türkiye is a country with ambitious goals in the National Space Program announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. We intend to invest more in space technologies,'' he added.

It should be noted that NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge is a 48-hour hackathon held across numerous global cities. It attracts diverse participants, including coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, producers, technologists, and curious individuals ready to address the challenges posed on Earth and in space. The competition encourages creativity, fosters critical thinking, and boosts interest in Earth and space sciences.

Space agencies from Europe, Japan, China, Australia, and South Africa (ESA, JAXA, CSA, ASA, SANSA) will also participate in the Space Apps Challenge competition, which aims to address the problems in the earth and space.
