Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, addressing the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, expressed confidence that Turkmenistan will raise cooperation with Turkic countries to a new level.

“Last year Turkmenistan joined the Organization of Turkic States as an observer. This will raise cooperation with fraternal countries to a new level.

As a strategic issue, we are ready to support the work carried out in enhancing cooperation in the economy, trade, industry, energy, transport, ecology, culture and humanitarian sphere with the Turkic countries.

I believe that we will create an excellent opportunity to promote our products, services and capital on the Eurasian continent based on these directions.

Turkmenistan considers cooperation in transport and energy one of the main directions of the Organization of the Turkic States. In our opinion, today, as a driving force of global economic growth, we must deepen this cooperation”, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted.
