Uzbekistan, Hungary Leaders discuss priority projects of mutually beneficial cooperation

On November 10, as part of the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in the city of Samarkand, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban.

At the meeting, issues of enhancing practical cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations of strategic partnership by the agreements at the highest level were considered.

The fruitful results of active business contacts, including within the framework of the joint business forum held these days with the participation of leading companies of the two countries, were noted with satisfaction.

The main attention was paid to the promotion of joint investment cooperation projects in industry, the chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, the banking and financial sector, transport and logistics, and other priority areas. An agreement was reached on accelerating the creation of mechanisms for financial support of business initiatives.

The importance of continuing active humanitarian exchange programs, primarily in education, culture and cinematography, was emphasized.
