The Ministry of Energy hosted a meeting with delegations from Golden Horizon Exploration Inc (Canada), and TransAtlantic Petroleum (Türkiye).
According to the Ministry, the parties discussed the possibility of accelerating the implementation of the project aimed at improving the production capacities of 5 gas fields Dayakhatin, Kulbeshkak, Khodjikazgan, Savatli and Jeykhun through conducting 3D/4D seismic surveys on them, introducing technologies to maintain pressure and other directions.
TransAtlantic Petroleum, established in 1980, specializes in the exploration, development and optimization of oil and gas fields.
Founded in 1987, Golden Horizon’s portfolio includes projects focused on the drilling and development of surface gas fields in the Thrace Basin northwest of Istanbul, 3D seismic survey of fields in the Netherlands, Austria and France.
Following the meeting, agreements were reached on the establishment of a working group to prepare commercial conditions for further implementation of projects with subsequent approval in the prescribed manner.
