Uza. TURKSOY, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of its foundation, has become a platform for great opportunities for the preservation and promotion of the cultural and literary heritage of the Turkic peoples.

The Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov is in Kazakhstan. His business trip is taking place as part of the anniversary events celebrated from 6 to 30 June in the member states of TURKSOY.

“At the meeting with TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev, we discussed in detail the events that are jointly planned to be held before the end of this year”, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov said. – In particular, this is the holding at a high level in the Turkic world of the 1050th anniversary of Beruni’s birth, the 540th anniversary of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur’s birth, and the 120th anniversary of Gafur Gulam’s birth. We also exchanged views on organizing a concert in our capital with the participation of art masters of the Turkic states, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of TURKSOY.

During the talks with Kazakhstan's Minister of Culture and Sports, Askhat Oralov, we agreed to hold the Culture and Cinema Days of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan on June 18-23. Joint preparatory work is underway on this issue.
