At the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, a telephone conversation was held today between Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye Hakan Fidan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

At the beginning of the conversation, Jeenbek Kulubaev congratulated Hakan Fidan on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, wishing him success in his high position.

During the conversation, the sides noted with satisfaction the level of bilateral relations, as well as the agenda of strategic cooperation and traditionally fraternal relations. In this context, Jeenbek Kulubaev invited Hakan Fidan to pay an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic, which was accepted with gratitude.

As a result, the Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye agreed to hold a regular meeting of the Joint Strategic Planning Group at the level of the heads of foreign affairs departments in the near future, as well as to make joint efforts to organize other planned visits and high-level events.
