Birthday congratulations continue to arrive for First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 27. Congratulatory messages continue to arrive for First Vice-President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva on the occasion of her birthday, with diplomats, politicians, academics, business leaders and public figures sending their best wishes.

Argentina’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Marian Ángeles Bellusci congratulated Mehriban Aliyeva on behalf of the Argentine Embassy and personally, wishing her good health, happiness, energy and continued success in her activities for Azerbaijan and its people. She also expressed appreciation for the productive cooperation between the Azerbaijani government and the Argentine Embassy and voiced hope for progress in new areas of bilateral cooperation.

US Chargé d’Affaires in Azerbaijan Amy Carlon also sent a congratulatory letter. She highlighted what she described as a significant expansion of US-Azerbaijan relations over the past year, referring to high-level contacts and cooperation in trade, culture, education and security. Carlon expressed hope that joint efforts to strengthen bilateral relations would continue.

Chairman of the World Union of Azerbaijani Scientists, Professor Masud Afandiyev, praised Mehriban Aliyeva’s humanitarian activities and contribution to the development of Azerbaijani science. He also highlighted her recent participation in events during the visit to Uzbekistan and wished her good health, longevity and continued success.

Congratulatory messages were also sent by Arif Guliyev, head of the Council of Azerbaijani Scientists of Ukraine, and Asaf Hajiyev, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation. Their letters highlighted Mehriban Aliyeva’s contribution to Azerbaijan’s social, humanitarian, cultural and international development.

Chairwoman of Russia’s Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko praised Mehriban Aliyeva’s professionalism and her contribution to social, cultural and charitable initiatives. She also emphasised her personal contribution to the development of Russia-Azerbaijan cooperation and the strengthening of traditional good-neighbourly relations between the two peoples.

Other congratulations came from Sechenov University Rector Pyotr Glybochko, academician Mammad Aliyev and renowned rhythmic gymnastics coach Irina Viner. Their messages highlighted Mehriban Aliyeva’s contributions to medicine, science, education, culture, sport and public life.

VTB Bank President Andrey Kostin, SAFMAR Group President Mikhail Gutseriev and businessman Alisher Usmanov also congratulated Mehriban Aliyeva. Their letters praised her public, humanitarian and charitable activities and wished her good health, happiness, prosperity and continued success.
