BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 6. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, during his official visit to Ukraine.
According to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides positively assessed the intensive political dialogue and high-level contacts between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, noting that they continue to contribute to the development of bilateral relations.
The meeting focused on prospects for expanding cooperation in the political, economic, energy, transport and humanitarian fields.
The officials also exchanged views on the evolving regional and international security environment, current geopolitical developments and other issues of mutual interest.
Both sides reaffirmed the importance of maintaining regular dialogue and practical cooperation in areas of shared interest between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
