BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 16, The body of Samad Nasrullayev, captain of the civilian merchant ship Atlas Bey, who was killed near the coast of Odessa, Ukraine, in a drone attack, has been recovered and transported to Odessa, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The Ministry stated that once the necessary procedures are completed, the body will be sent back to Azerbaijan. “We extend our deepest condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased ship captain. May Allah have mercy on him,” the statement said.
