BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 22. A delegation led by the Vice President of Türkiye, Cevdet Yilmaz, visited the tomb of the founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, at the Alley of Honors in Baku today,TurkicWorld reports.
First, the dear memory of the National Leader was commemorated with respect, and a wreath was laid at his tomb.
The memory of the prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, was also commemorated, and bouquets were laid at her grave.
