Ukraine's delegation stays in Turkey for 'military technical' talks

Ukrainian negotiator Davyd Arakhamia said his delegation is staying in Istanbul to hold talks on "military-technical" cooperation with the Turkish government on Wednesday, TurkicWorld reports with reference DailySabah.

Arakhamia spoke a day after delegations from both sides met in Turkey's largest city to hold peace talks, hailed by both sides as a positive step.

The talks on Tuesday hosted by Turkey sketched out what could end up being a framework for ending the war. The talks had been expected to resume on Wednesday, but Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavushoglu said the two sides were bringing the proposals back to their capitals.

At the conference in Istanbul, Ukraine’s delegation laid a framework under which the country would declare itself neutral and its security would be guaranteed by an array of other nations.
