An official meeting has been held at the Central Command Post of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry under the leadership of Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, TurkicWorld reports via the ministry.
The meeting was attended by deputy ministers, commanders of military branches, heads of main directorates, departments and services of the ministry. Besides, commanders of military unions and formations stationed in the territories liberated from Armenian occupation [in the 2020 second Karabakh war], as well as other authorized officers took part in the meeting in the video format.
Hasanov informed the meeting participants about the tasks set before the Azerbaijani army by the President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The minister noted that the supreme commander highly appreciated the combat and moral-psychological training of the personnel of the Azerbaijani army.
The meeting participants analyzed the situation on the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as operational conditions in the Karabakh economic zone.
At the same time, the minister gave specific instructions to maintain a high level of combat readiness of military units, constantly improve their service- combat activities, and increase their vigilance.
Hasanov also instructed the personnel to be ready to use newly adopted modern weapons, equipment and other combat means, to conduct exercises and practical exercises in accordance with real combat conditions with the aim of further increasing the combat capability of the units, as well as the constant readiness of military units for the accurate and timely fulfillment of their combat missions.
Another instruction of the minister was to pay close attention to the logistics and engineering support of the military divisions on combat duty in high mountains and harsh climatic conditions.
