BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 19. Pakistan's Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will visit Azerbaijan in two days, the country's Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani told journalists on the sidelines of the 15th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly in Baku, TurkicWorld reports.
Recalling that the President of Azerbaijan visited Pakistan last year, Gilani emphasized the strong cooperation between the two nations across various sectors.
To note, at the invitation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev paid a state visit to Pakistan on July 11-12, 2024. The presidential delegation included ministers of defense, defense industry, economy, digital development, and transport, as well as deputy foreign minister.
