BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. The negotiations for the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, initiated by the Azerbaijani side, have made significant strides, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during a phone conversation with the UK Minister for Europe, North America, and Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty, TurkicWorld reports.
The minister noted that overall, work on coordinating the draft is underway, but the territorial claims contained in the Armenian Constitution against Azerbaijan are a major obstacle in the process.
The conversation covered various areas of cooperation between the two countries in the field of alternative energy, the solar energy production efforts between SOCAR and bp, as well as preparations for the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
