BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. In accordance with the plan of bilateral cooperation for 2024 signed between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the General Staff of the Italian Republic, staff talks were held in Baku, TurkicWorldreports referring to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
The Azerbaijan Defense Ministry's International Military Cooperation Department noted the positive impact of enhanced relations between the countries on the military sphere during the meeting. Speaking about the importance of regional and international security in the current period, the parties stressed the significance of joint efforts in ensuring world peace.
A detailed exchange of views on the current state and prospects for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Italy in the military sphere took place. The activity of cooperation in the military technical and military educational spheres was analyzed.
Following the briefings, answers were given to questions of mutual interest. The meeting concluded with the signing of protocols.
