French colonial system results in years of suffering - activist

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 3. I have been a witness to France's racism for 25 years, a well-known activist and one of the main critics of French neocolonialism Kemi Seba said at an international conference in Baku on "France's Neocolonialism Policy in Africa", TurkicWorld reports.

"I have been arrested twice in France and twice in Africa. I was fortunate enough to escape from them. And today I continue my struggle. The French colonial system has tormented us for years. We are tired of the West's tyranny towards us. That is why we are here. We consider the Baku Initiative Group our sincere friends," he said.

The international conference on the policy of French neocolonialism in Africa, organized by the Baku Initiative Group, started its work on October 3.

The conference is attended by representatives of African countries (Senegal, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Guinea-Bissau, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mauritania, Zimbabwe, and Niger), as well as France and the French enslaved island of Mayotte.
