BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 1. The investigation into the criminal case related to the arrested Armenian separatists has been completed, Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev told journalists in Baku, TurkicWorld reports.
He noted that the investigative actions in the case have been completed.
"The stage of familiarization with the materials of the criminal case has already begun. However, this stage takes quite a long time. Because there are quite a lot of victims, and at the same time the rights of the accused are ensured in accordance with international conventions and the requirements of national legislation. Each of them has several lawyers, they have the right to get acquainted with the materials, because the charges are quite serious, charges related to separatism, charges related to the destruction of our historical and cultural monuments", he said.
The Prosecutor General noted that the case will be transferred to court after all these processes are completed.
