BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 24. Türkiye hopes for positive results in the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his speech at the UN General Assembly meeting, TurkicWorld reports.
''We support the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and we hope that the work will be completed with good news as soon as possible. We are also taking mutually positive steps on the Türkiye-Armenia track,'' he said.
Erdogan emphasized that the developments that can be achieved in the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process will also have a positive impact on the Türkiye-Armenia normalization process.
To note, the major debates within the 79th session of the UN General Assembly started today. Azerbaijan will be represented by Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the keynote debate. His speech is scheduled for September 28. The debate will end on September 30.
