BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 17. The signing of a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia is of great importance for stability and development in the South Caucasus, Director of Türkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Ibrahim Kalin said at the Baku Security Conference today, TurkicWorld reports via the Anadolu Agency.
He emphasized that establishing lasting peace between Baku and Yerevan would ensure transportation links with Europe, including the opening of the Zangezur Corridor.
Kalin also tackled the trust issues that are running rampant across the globe, the looming shadow of terrorism, and the humanitarian fallout that follows in its wake.
