BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 13. Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan for Special Assignments Elchin Amirbayov met with President of Burkina Faso Ibrahim Traoré, TurkicWorld reports.
During the meeting, Amirbayov highlighted that his visit coincides with the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
He noted that this is an ideal moment to evaluate the bilateral relationship and explore new opportunities for its enhancement, noting the numerous benefits these relations offer.
The discussions centered on strengthening cooperation based on mutual respect and shared interests. Both parties expressed their commitment to expanding collaboration in specific sectors where it could be mutually beneficial, including energy, mining, vocational education, and humanitarian aid.
Amirbayov also underscored Azerbaijan's commitment to strengthening ties with African countries, pointing out the solid connections established with major African nations.
