BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 2. Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Djuric, TurkicWorld reports.
It was noted with satisfaction at the meeting that the Azerbaijani-Serbian relations, which are characterized by high dynamics of development, are of the nature of friendship and strategic partnership.
The role of the heads of state in strengthening bilateral relations and achieving their current high level was especially emphasized.
The mutual support of Azerbaijan and Serbia within the framework of international organizations, especially in matters of territorial integrity and sovereignty, was highly appreciated.
It was noted that effective cooperation is being carried out between the two countries in many areas, in particular in trade and economic, investment, oil and gas, and industrial spheres.
The prospects for increasing trade turnover and mutual investments between Azerbaijan and Serbia, developing cooperation in the field of renewable energy, transport and transit, humanitarian and other spheres were discussed at the meeting.
