BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 2. The electoral legislation of Azerbaijan meets generally accepted principles and norms of international law and ensures the holding of an open, free, and democratic poll, the head of the CIS observer mission, First Deputy Secretary General of the CIS Leonid Anfimov, said during a media briefing, TurkicWorldreports.
"An analysis was carried out to determine compliance with the standards of democratic election. The analysis showed that the Constitution and the Electoral Code, as well as the regulatory legal acts adopted on their basis, establish provisions and principles that provide voters with conditions for free expression of their will during voting.
