BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. Parliamentary poll confirms perfection of Azerbaijan's political system, General Director of the Caspian Institute for Strategic Studies (Russia) Igor Korotchenko told the Independent Media Center 'Election2024', TurkicWorld reports.
He said that after the full restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity, some meddlers from outside are trying to stick their noses in and throw a spanner in the works in the region.
According to him, parliamentary election plays a key role in the life of any country.
"I'm confident that the election to be held on September 1 will once again demonstrate the perfection and effectiveness of Azerbaijan's political system.
Therefore the stability of Azerbaijan's political system is a top priority. Having a parliamentary election after the presidential election will set the stage for solidifying stability and guaranteeing the country's continued growth with confidence.
The special significance of this election is that it will be held for the first time in the liberated Karabakh," the analyst concluded.
To note, on June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani Parliament and scheduling a snap election for September 1.
