According to the preliminary version, the servicemen died on July 30 while off duty, poisoned while swimming in sulfurous, carbonated thermal waters.
"The fact of the discovery of the bodies of servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army - captain Asif Emnaliyev, warrant officer Farid Jabrayilov, servicemen of long-term active military service - sergeant Tural Samadov and sergeant Emin Shahmarli has been confirmed.
The leadership of the Ministry of Defense expresses deep condolences to the families and friends of the fallen servicemen," the source added.
