Asadov conveyed President Ilham Aliyev's greetings and congratulations to Masoud Pezeshkian on the beginning of his presidential term.
The prime minister also presented President Pezeshkian with an invitation from President Aliyev to attend COP29, which will be held in Azerbaijan this November.
During the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the successful development of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Iran across various sectors and discussed further prospects for cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
